11 Months!

Nothing major happening this month, just biding time until Apil 24 (1st birthday!).

Lots of snuggles, fierce scratching, chasing toys, and the occasional getting into everything have gone on the last month. (So, business as usual?)

They've decided to stop eating Turkey flavored Fancy Feast (kitten) for some reason.  Of course, I just bought 5 cases. (Actually, I think Domi's mostly eating dry and Midi eats most of the wet.)

I had them at the vet last 3/3, and Domino weighs 11.27 pounds! Midnight is 10.17.   Midi had developed a pervasive cough; we're pretty sure she has mild asthma. A steroid shot cleared things right up; no cough in 3 weeks (including spring break when I was home all week).

I still take them places in the same carrier, but they're getting really heavy (21+ pounds, combined).  I started looking for tamsportation options, and I really wanted to keep them together.  Thanks to a gift card from answering a survey, I was able to get us all a new toy.

It's a pet stroller!  At first I didn't think the liked it, but later I caught the bottom two pictures.  Domino likes to camp out in it.  I did have to unzip the top because I was afraid they'd rip the mesh; they were playing with each other through it.

We haven't actually gone anywhere since I got it.  Sadly, it's just a bit too tall to fit in my car without folding it, so cat transport is a little complicated. Now that it's starting to get nice out, though, I'm looking forward to taking walks with kitties in tow.

That's probably enough for this month.  Next month we get to party!

Until next time, keep purring!

DNA Tests

Back in 2024, I had the opportunity to get a free DNA test for Domi from Basepaws.  Technically, he's part of the "healthy cat coh...
