Today is a very important day. Domino & Midnight are 1 year old! They've grown so much and I'm so glad they ended up mine.
Neither are fans of party hats, and Domi refused to wear the scarf. Midi looks quite fetching in it, though.
We're having a mini party, with new toys (stuffed donuts and mice on elastic) and some new treats to try. So far, they'll eat just about anything treat-wise.
They're a little pickier for food. We started transitioning to Friskies pate today--they ate the Poultry Platter just fine this morning (even Dom, my dry food addict). I'll give them a little of the adult Purina One dry tonight and see how it goes.
They've calmed down a lot, although I still see some bursts of kitten play. Naps are a favorite for all three of us, and I can't complain about snuggles.
We have only managed one excursion in the stroller, but they did great. Next week is finals, so hopefully we'll have some stroll time soon.
We're pretty sure Midi has asthma, so the next adventure will be giving her an inhaler. I got it Friday, but have been busy so we haven't done much yet; she did check it out thoroughly last night. Some of her birthday treats are purees, so we may use them to get her used to the mask.
Domi's started rolling over for belly ribs whenever I get near him. About half the time he wants to wrestle instead of snuggles, though. I can't get a good pic because I can't resist the belly...
