Domino & Midnight are 15 months old today. On July 16, we celebrated their "gotcha day," the anniversary of the day I adopted them. They've grown a lot in a year!
(Same window, roughly a year apart.)Domi is still a sweet snuggle bug with a shoe obsession. He likes crunchy food and only occasionally eats canned (ocean whitefish is his favorite). He loves small lightweight toys, especially balls, he can swat around & chase. He likes to pull things out of the puzzle box for me to put back. He sleeps a lot, but still has bursts of energy when he pounces on everything.
Midi is still the mischief maker, most likely to wake me up in the middle of the night playing with the shades or trying to climb a curtain. She prefers canned food and loves springs. She is a lot more active and still sometimes chases her tail.
I thought they went back to the vet this month for grown up shots, but it's next month. I'll update on weights, etc., after that appointment.
I splurged on something I hoped they would like. I've had it for about 5 days. Midi took to it quickly; Domi so far doesn't want anything to do with it. At first I lured her to it with treats or toys, but she's getting on it on her own now.
Not the best video, but she can really run when she wants to. I'm usually laughing too hard (or holding a toy) to take a video.
I had the opportunity to do a "Paint Your Pet" night with a friend. Unfortunately, I could only do one at a time. Under the assumption that she'd be hardest, I did Midi first. My friend plans another session in August or September, so I plan to do Domi soon.
Sadly, school starts back soon, so I need to work on syllabi and Blackboard. So, until next time, keep purring!
