Meet the Kitties

 On Saturday, July 16, 2022, I got to meet my new kitties.

Domino and Midnight are a brother and sister, born from a feral mother and rescued by Pound Pals of Radford. They enabled me to adopted the two cuties.  They're about 12 weeks old.

The spent the first couple of hours at my house exploring and playing hard, then settled into their new Hideout (behind the couch) for a nap.

Over the next couple of days they settled in.  Midnight discovered the widow first, but they both love to sit in the sill and watch outside.

 

Domino has the loudest purr I've ever heard.  He loves to climb up on my chest or shoulder and curl up for a cuddle.  He also likes to kiss my nose.  He's very rowdy when playing and attacks everything at a run.

Midnight is a little more aloof, but she like a good cuddle, too.   She's an explorer; you can see her planning how to get into things (I stopped her from trying to climb the curtain AND the window screen).

Last night, both of them cuddled up in my lap at once for a good snuggle.  It reminded me of when Benny and Cassie (my previous cats) would sleep in my lap.
