Domi & Midi are 10 months old today. We're celebrating by snuggling, but there will be some new treats later.
They've settled down a lot, but they still like to play. They both enjoy chasing the laser pointer (it's a good way to wear them out before bed), and today I saw a soccer game (except it was a spring instead of a ball). Domi's favorite toy right now is a yellow bouncy ball with an odd shape so it bounces erratically (atomic ball?); Midi loves plastic springs.
They both love their scratching posts, too. I'm going to have to find a way to recover some of the posts. Midi likes the rope covered posts, but Domi prefers carpet. Unfortunately, the carpet doesn't hold up as well. (They also like to scratch my recliner--but that's another story altogether). This is one of the posts of the tree they got for Christmas.
They got to spend three nights at Grandma's house a couple weeks ago when I went to a conference. They were not happy campers. Midi was always looking for attenton, and Domi hid. They were very happy to get home & have been extra snuggly since.
I'm pretty sure Domi weighs 10.5 lbs. now. (My scale doesn't do well with wiggly kitties.) They're not due back to the vet until after their first birthday, though, so I won't get an official weights for a while.
Boxes are a big hit, and I thought it would be nice to compare Domi yesterday to Domi in July:
Same box. Here's Midi in September vs. Midi last night:
